Abstract:
This report contains an attendance list, handout
materials, copies of visuals from invited papers, and
notes from three breakout sessions held during a June 30
to July 2 workshop. The purpose of the workshop was to
gather information and support for a study to quantify
the performance and reliability of fire detection and
suppression systems, and of compartmentation, and the
degree to which any one could be reduced or eliminated
without undue risk of loss. The workshop and study are
being conducted as required in PL 102-522.
