Abstract:
This paper discusses fire signatures associated with
detection devices, the transport processes, the
operating characteristics of individual types of
detectors, and a vulnerability analysis using predictive
fire modeling techniques as a means of establishing the
necessary response of the detection system to provide
the level of protection required.
